Requirements

  • Continuous standing for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance to laid standards of the current Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Carry out qualification of production equipment and compliance to specifications and validated methods
  • Prepare Standard Operating Procedures for equipment
  • Implement Quality Management System as per cGMP and international requirements at all levels of Manufacturing
  • Train and evaluate technicians for their qualifications to operate specific equipment
  • Coordinate with production planning department and QA for work order and Batch Record documents
  • Exercise effective control over environmental conditions in Manufacturing and related activities that may adversely affect product quality
  • Coordinate for calibration/preventive maintenance for all production equipment and instruments with engineering/QA/QC and outside agencies
  • Organize job responsibilities to technicians as per daily plan
  • Exercise effective control over process variables affecting product quality
  • Fill and maintain the BMR online and maintain/fill formats and other related documents
  • Ensure maintenance of production area and equipment in a state of cleanliness as per SOPs at all points of time
  • Continuously monitor and improve production output on a daily basis
  • In absence, ensure subordinate Executive/Manager or authorized designee handles day-to-day working
