Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for OCS and power supply systems including substations, feeder stations, traction power, distribution networks, and OCS hardware (poles, cantilevers, wires, insulators, anchors)
Perform quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and BIM models
Develop and maintain unit rates for OCS components, cabling, substations, and installation activities
Collaborate with designers, engineers, and construction managers to validate constructability, phasing, and methodology impacts on cost
Support value engineering exercises by identifying cost-saving alternatives and system optimization approaches
Analyze subcontractor/vendor pricing and provide bid evaluations
Support tender preparation and submission for design-build or P3 infrastructure contracts
Participate in risk and contingency analysis, particularly for power supply interfaces, third-party utilities, and OCS installation methods
Track and update market trends in construction labor, electrical materials, and OCS/power equipment pricing
Provide input for project budgets, cost planning, change orders
