Responsibilities

The OCR Assistant will operate Abbyy Flexicapture and FlexiLayout to process and extract data from PDF documents, configuring the software to recognize various document types, especially state unemployment forms. Responsibilities include creating flat files from extracted data, reviewing and validating OCR outputs for data completeness, and troubleshooting data extraction issues. The role also involves conducting testing and quality assurance, maintaining process documentation, collaborating with teams for workflow integration, staying updated on Abbyy software features, supporting regulatory compliance, and processing assigned document batches.
