Responsibilities

Manage a distributed team of engineers, fostering a positive and productive work environment
Lead the development of distributed tracing and service mesh elements within the observability group
Contribute to code reviews and architectural leadership
Collaborate with other Engineering Managers, product managers, and architects to produce an engineering roadmap with ambitious and achievable goals
Help team members grow as engineers, find professional and personal satisfaction, and work well with colleagues and the community
Be a positive influence on culture, facilitate technical delivery, and regularly reflect with the team on strategy and execution
Ensure smooth, lightweight Day 1 and Day 2 operations for the observability stack
