Requirements

An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience supervising or managing teams is critical. Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred. Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines, critical thinking, efficient time management, meeting deadlines, and computer literacy with typing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Manage the medical file review process, including intake and turn-around time, and supervise the Customer Service Representative team. Provide oversight of case handling and file review to ensure timely processing and proper notation, offering guidance on case assignments and handling. Conduct monthly staff audits to ensure goals are met, providing coaching and training as needed, and resolving issues brought to the supervisor's attention. Train new team members on case workflow, processes, and client-specific requirements. Conduct one-on-one meetings with staff for progress reviews and feedback, and participate in writing initial and annual staff reviews, potentially contributing to hiring and firing decisions. Provide frequent updates to clients on cases in progress and respond to client questions regarding referral information to ensure proper documentation is provided to reviewers. Ensure proper documentation for complex cases is provided to the client and deliver exceptional customer service.
