Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred
  • Business experience in a Worker’s Compensation and/or Auto insurance setting preferred
  • NY IME experience preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines
  • Computer literacy and typing skills
  • Ability to handle any lifting, bending, traveling, etc., required for job duties
  • Tolerance for long periods of sitting and computer work
  • Supply and support own internet services with uninterrupted connection for work from home

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure overall profitability of the regional operations center, including reaching/exceeding financial and referral goals, managing staffing efficiencies, and managing performance expectations/improvements for staff
  • Present regular reporting to management on requested topics
  • Drive revenue growth by delivering excellent customer service, including meeting scheduling best practices and turnaround time requirements
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality reports
  • Manage client inquiries in a timely manner
  • Optimize physician costs and ensure client invoices adhere to the agreed-upon fee schedule
  • Oversee proper selection of physicians based on claimant’s location, required specialty, and client’s fee schedule
  • Build relationships with key physicians to ensure panel retention
  • Monitor key performance metrics of individual Customer Service Representatives (CSR) and Quality Assurance (QA) Specialists
  • Ensure team meets or exceeds 85% of output goals for scheduling and Quality Assurance targets
  • Hire new staff based on increased referral volume or new clients
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed, in accordance with company policy
  • Join Sales staff for client visits as needed
  • Manage overall production, performance, and quality of the assigned region
  • Plan and organize daily activities related to production and operations
  • Measure productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports
  • Coordinate with support departments such as human resources, finance, IT, and Business Analysis
  • Determine labor needs to meet production goals
  • Oversee the deposition process at the request of the client or defense counsel
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs
