- Minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Experience in Family medicine or primary care practice preferred
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing
- Minimum of two years of (incomplete in description, but specified)
Responsibilities
- Provide Primary and Family evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients
- Provide holistic, evidenced-based care including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention, and safer sex practices
- Order and administer immunizations and injections (including but not limited to COVID-19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education
- Provide administrative duties including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, collecting payment, and maintaining a clean environment
- Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes
- Speak with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, complete diagnostic tests to diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care plans
- Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, and chronic condition management
