Candidates must be a graduate of a Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or NP Certificate Program, hold national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner, or Gerontological Nurse Practitioner, and have an active, non-probationary state Nurse Practitioner license and active DEA license.
The role operates within an outpatient practice team including physicians, nurse practitioners/assistants, medical scribes, nurses, and care managers, partnering with specialists and hospitals.
A strong candidate will have the required advanced nursing degree and national certification in family, adult-gerontology primary care, adult, or gerontological NP specialties, along with active state NP and DEA licenses, plus bilingual Spanish skills which are preferred.
