Candidates must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current licensure in the state of Oregon, and possess a valid Oregon Nurse Occupational Competency (NOC) certification. Prior experience in a withdrawal management or urgent care setting is preferred, along with a strong understanding of substance use disorders and dual diagnosis care.
The Nurse LPN will provide nursing support, assessment, and care for patients withdrawing from drugs and alcohol within the inpatient program, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team including providers, CMAs, techs, and case managers. They will also assist with patient screenings, review medical histories, complete risk assessments, and communicate effectively with the treatment team regarding clinical and non-clinical issues, ensuring adherence to Oregon Administrative Rules and supporting admission and medical staff.
