NSSS System Engineer (Senior - Principal) at American Electric Power

This is a full-time position.

Relocation assistance may be available if needed.

Mechanical or Chemical Engineering backgrounds are preferred.

Prior knowledge/experience with ice condenser systems at nuclear power plants and ventilation systems is preferred but not required.

The primary role is to proactively manage system performance to meet or exceed plant safety, production, and cost goals by preventing equipment failures and improving system reliability and availability in a cost-effective manner, including monitoring performance, system walk downs, and maintaining preventive maintenance programs.
