Dane Street, an Independent Review Organization and national provider of Utilization Review services, is expanding its physician panel. This telework opportunity offers non-traditional physician work and supplemental income with a caseload customized to your schedule. Our physician panel consists of independent contract reviewers (1099) compensated on a per-case basis. We are seeking physicians in Neurology to assess the medical necessity of treatment requests and previously denied services. The average review time is 15-20 minutes, allowing for multiple cases per hour. Training and onboarding can be completed in less than a week, enabling you to earn compensation while maintaining your active practice.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted New York Medical License
• NY Workers Comp Board Certified
• Active Practice Board Certified

Responsibilities

• Address the medical necessity of treatment requests.
• In appeals, assess the medical necessity of previously denied services.
