Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (NEW GRAD ONLY)
  • Internship or coursework experience related to production or material planning (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing operations and production planning processes (preferred)
  • Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Power BI, Canva, and Generative AI tools
  • Skill in Project Management
  • Effective negotiation and coordination skills with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrate a good level of English proficiency (written/verbal)

Responsibilities

  • Provide Daily Build Plan: Develop and deliver daily build plans based on Demand Requests and Optimization inputs (material and capacity) from stakeholders
  • Monitor Production Plan Execution: Track and ensure that the production plan is being executed as planned, adjusting to minimize delivery impacts to customers
  • Analyze and Adjust for Delays: Identify delays and disruptions in the production process and adjust the production schedule to meet delivery deadlines
  • Coordinate with the Demand Team: Collaborate with the demand team to address any demand changes, under the guidance of the leadership team
  • Monitor KPIs: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production planning on a daily basis to ensure goals are met
  • Inventory Management: Continually learn and apply best practices in inventory management to avoid excess inventory and reduce waste
  • Follow Company Procedures: Ensure compliance with all company rules, procedures, and safety protocols
  • Capacity Planning: Collaborate with various departments to forecast and plan for required production capacity based on upcoming demand and resource availability
