The New Business Developer will be responsible for improving Sysco’s market position and achieving financial growth by executing long-term strategic goals, utilizing advanced analytics and lead generation, and negotiating contracts to secure new business. They will collaborate with a cross-functional team to create comprehensive strategies, build relationships with prospects, transition accounts to the sales force, and develop creative sales plans to capitalize on multi-segment opportunities. Additionally, the role involves working with regional sales leaders on strategy development, prioritizing intel opportunities, coordinating proposal processes, reviewing sales objectives, and providing continuous training to the sales team while staying informed on industry trends.
