Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols including Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with firewalls, security policies, and access controls
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches and firewalls
  • Assist in moving existing on-premises network systems to cloud-based platforms
  • Monitor network performance and swiftly resolve network problems to ensure system availability, reliability and minimise downtime
  • Proactively initiate network infrastructure enhancement
  • Collaborate with local and global IT teams to develop and implement network solutions including Cloud
  • Apply industry best practices to ensure optimal network performance and security
  • Ensure network security and compliance with company policies and standards
  • Maintain accurate records of network configurations, updates, and procedures
  • Provide technical support and staff training as needed
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required
