Requirements

Candidates should possess 5 or more years of hands-on experience with switch configuration for private cloud environments, demonstrating a strong knowledge of Aruba/Juniper/Cisco or Arista networking platforms, VLANs, STP, LACP, vPC/MLAGOSPF, BGP, network segmentation and ACLs, VXLAN, EVPN, and experience with Ansible, Python scripting, and Infrastructure-as-Code principles. A solid understanding of data center traffic patterns and high-availability architectures is also required, along with hands-on experience with network automation via REST APIs and templated configuration.

Responsibilities

The Network Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for configuring, integrating, and automating network switches for private cloud solutions, designing and implementing VLANs, port channels, and routing protocols for efficient east-west and north-south traffic flow, developing procedures to integrate switch infrastructure with customer’s existing data center environment, automating switch provisioning and configuration, implementing overlay/underlay network models, ensuring robust network segmentation, security policies, and performance optimization, collaborating with systems, cloud, and security teams to deliver reliable private cloud connectivity, maintaining accurate network documentation, and participating in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and customer support as needed.
