Requirements

4 Year Degree and/or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
3-5 years of experience in enterprise-level network engineering in a corporate environment
Knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, LACP, DHCP and other network protocols
Experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and security features along with Meraki switching and wireless appliances
Hands-on experience with Aruba network infrastructure, including wireless and switching platforms
Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., SNMP, Netflow, Syslog, Wireshark)
Working knowledge of cloud networking (Azure, AWS, OCI, etc)
Experience with Active Directory Integration (ADI) in networking contexts, NPS, RADIUS
Automation skills using Python and PowerShell are preferred
Experience supporting voice infrastructure, including IP-based phone systems and enterprise voice equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and business impact

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain network performance and availability using enterprise tools; troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently
Deploy and maintain Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and VPN solutions; collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce security standards
Support infrastructure projects such as cloud integrations, office expansions, and system upgrades
Maintain comprehensive diagrams, configurations, and technical documentation; contribute to process improvements
Partner with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams to ensure cohesive network integration across all corporate systems
