Requirements

  • 4 Year Degree and/or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3-5 years of experience in enterprise-level network engineering in a corporate environment
  • Knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, LACP, DHCP and other network protocols
  • Experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and security features along with Meraki switching and wireless appliances
  • Hands-on experience with Aruba network infrastructure, including wireless and switching platforms
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., SNMP, Netflow, Syslog, Wireshark)
  • Working knowledge of cloud networking (Azure, AWS, OCI, etc)
  • Experience with Active Directory Integration (ADI) in networking contexts, NPS, RADIUS
  • Automation skills using Python and PowerShell are preferred
  • Experience supporting voice infrastructure, including IP-based phone systems and enterprise voice equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and business impact

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain network performance and availability using enterprise tools; troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently
  • Deploy and maintain Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and VPN solutions; collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce security standards
  • Support infrastructure projects such as cloud integrations, office expansions, and system upgrades
  • Maintain comprehensive diagrams, configurations, and technical documentation; contribute to process improvements
  • Partner with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams to ensure cohesive network integration across all corporate systems
