  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or ability to obtain one
  • Experience with the design and construction of natural gas pipelines
  • Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Design and construction of natural gas pipelines
  • Monitor task budget and progress
  • Work with and mentor junior design team members
  • Prepare computer-generated natural gas pipeline and mechanical working drawings
  • Generate bills of materials
  • Ability to work independently
  • Create estimated time requirements for projects
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors
  • Conduct on-site field walks as needed
  • Prepare project status and other reports
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals
  • Attend client, public, project, and staff meetings
  • Attend seminars and/or training classes
  • Grow and maintain excellent client relations
  • Maintain a safe working environment
