Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
10+ years of similar work experience required
Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
Experience with the design and construction of natural gas pipelines
Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work well with others

Responsibilities

Design and construction of natural gas pipelines
Monitor task budget and progress
Work with and mentor junior design team members
Prepare computer-generated natural gas pipeline and mechanical working drawings
Generate bill of materials
Ability to work independently
Create estimated time requirements for projects
Coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors
Conduct on-site field walks as needed
Prepare project status and other reports
Assist with the preparation of proposals
Attend client, public, project, and staff meetings (including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc.)
Attend seminars and/or training classes
Grow and maintain excellent client relations
Maintain a safe working environment
