Candidates should have at least 5 years as a leader in Medtech industry, whereof minimum 2 years in sales management. Strong communication and change management skills are required, based on transparent and inclusive values. A track record of leading transformation and growth is essential, along with the ability to deal with ambiguity and flexibility to quickly adapt to change. Passionate about building new business opportunities, strong planning skills with a structured work pattern, and a result-driven, accountable, and growth-minded approach are also necessary. Resilience and positivity, responding well to setbacks and proactively encouraging peers, are key qualifications. A high interest in leadership development, self-awareness, and a desire to improve are required, along with team-focused values and strong analytical skills including experience in commercial excellence, tender/contract management, and pricing strategy. Proficiency in CRM and BI tools is needed, and the ability to lead in a matrix organization, engaging and influencing sales teams and functional partners, is essential. English fluency is required.
The National Sales Manager will develop and implement annual sales plans, goals, and objectives for the sales team, provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to the team, and ensure team success. They will analyse sales data, market trends, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth, lead and manage the account planning process, develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, and collaborate with marketing, tech services, and therapy partners. The role holder will conduct regular performance reviews, set KPIs, provide coaching and feedback to the sales team, monitor sales activity and pipeline, forecast sales revenue, and report regularly on sales performance. They will also develop and negotiate contracts/agreements with clients, stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities, act as a change agent, and travel approximately 50% of the time.
