Candidates need a vocational or associate degree with 5+ years in automotive parts quality work, strong blueprint reading, inspection and measurement experience, quality control basics, engineering knowledge, PPAP handling, problem-solving, and customer interfacing ability. English reading/writing/speaking skills can relax other requirements.
Responsibilities include classifying/rewriting defective products and analyzing defects, analyzing and improving line-stop defects, preparing and updating quality documents like PPAP and Control Plans, handling customer quality issues with 8D reports, and other tasks assigned by the quality supervisor.
A strong candidate has 5+ years of automotive parts quality experience, blueprint reading and measurement skills, PPAP expertise, problem-solving ability, and customer-facing experience; English proficiency is a bonus that can relax other requirements.
