The Modern Workplace Support Engineer is part of the End Users Computing services and reports to the IT Support Manager. This role involves managing multiple areas of focus within the IT department, including end-user computer and L2/L3 service support, ensuring the operational efficiency of EUC applications and systems. The candidate will also be involved in local and global IT projects and will be expected to work in shifts and on-call as needed.

Requirements

• Education: ICT related Bachelor level of knowledge, focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Experience: 3 – 4 years of experience in a similar L2/L3 support function.
• Technical Skills:
  • Microsoft Technologies: MS Office, Intune, Azure Active Directory, Windows OS.
  • Hardware Settings
  • Generic knowledge of Network
  • PowerShell
• Soft Skills:
  • Communicative (oral and written)
  • Service-oriented
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of Unit4 policies

Responsibilities

• Process and solve incidents and service requests in a timely and qualitative way.
• Prepare and run changes and configuration management on IT systems.
• Perform daily management activities defined in daily permanent activities.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments (infrastructure, Shared Service Center) and external vendors.
• Maintain the EUC environment.
• Contribute to user satisfaction in relation to the IT environment.
• Participate in local and global IT projects.
• Communicate effectively with end-users.
