Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, requiring fourteen years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Alternatively, four years of additional Software Engineer experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree. Applicants must hold a TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph clearance, and a minimum of fourteen years of experience as a Systems Engineer in similar programs and contracts. Furthermore, two years of experience in architecting, deploying, and administering Splunk is required, including infrastructure planning, data collection, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

The Mid-Level Software Engineer will develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including processing-intensive analytics, algorithm development, and large data set manipulation. They will review and test software components, resolve software problem reports, and utilize appropriate software development methodologies. The role involves providing input to system design, documenting test results, and advising management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies, utilizing skills in databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MariaDB, and Postgres, and managing systems through Active Directory and Centify.
