Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead and generate technical solutions, including specifying requirements, functional decomposition, analysis, development, and testing for current, new, and major programs. This role involves leading the development of software system design content and software anomaly corrections, performing complex design analysis, and specifying and balancing system requirements. The ideal candidate will provide, communicate, and support common best practices within the software community.

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate APIs into single microservices using microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes environments.
  • Design APIs based on new design implementations and update corresponding interfaces.
  • Create features and stories based on epics and track progress to meet all deployment deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the UI team to support ongoing releases and modify microservices accordingly.
  • Support ongoing production deployments and address production issues during deployment.
  • Monitor production APIs and take action on any incidents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience as a Systems Developer, Programmer Analyst, Systems Analyst, Software Engineer, or a related role.
  • Five (5) years of experience with:
    • Java, JavaServer Faces (JSF), jQuery, JavaScript
    • Software functional testing and defect fixing using Mockito and Junit
    • Developing web services using Rest and SOAP
    • Spring Boot and Struts
    • Microservices architecture
    • REST API development
    • Kubernetes and Docker environments
    • OAuth
  • Experience with Axure cloud.

Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid Role: 3 Days In-Office, 2 Days Work from Home.
  • Must be able to report to the local office.
