Responsibilities
- Promptly unload trucks
- Assist fellow associates as needed throughout the store
- Sort and stock products on shelves and in the backroom
- Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
- Maintain a clean, neat, and member-ready area
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, providing guidance on self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products/services
- Maintain safety of facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling/disposing of hazardous materials, following steel standard guidelines, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations
- Maintain sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning areas, stocking/arranging/organizing merchandise, setting up/cleaning/organizing displays, removing damaged goods, signing/pricing merchandise, identifying shrink/damages, and securing fragile/high-shrink merchandise
- Monitor food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, code dating, recalls, and sanitation standards; ensure prominent display of promotional/seasonal merchandise
- Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies/data/resources, collaborating with others, identifying priorities/deadlines, carrying out tasks, communicating progress, recommending improvements, and adapting to change/feedback
- Ensure club pick-up orders are filled
