Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
Proficiency in Java programming language and Spring Boot framework
Thorough familiarity with diverse AWS services and practical know-how in deploying applications on AWS, encompassing Kinesis Firehose, Athena, ElastiCache, and additional options (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Apache Cassandra, MongoDB)
Experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark
Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Experience with data analysis tools and techniques is a plus
Work experience on Graph Database and graph data science is an added advantage
AWS certification(s) would be advantageous

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using Java Spring Boot
Design and implement server-side logic, including APIs and web services
Employ a range of AWS offerings like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Kinesis Firehose, Athena, and ElastiCache for application deployment and management
Implement data storage solutions using Apache Cassandra or MongoDB and ensure data security and integrity
Utilize Apache Spark for large-scale data processing and analytics tasks
Implement workflows and data pipelines using Apache Airflow for scheduling and orchestration
Perform data analysis tasks to extract insights and optimize application performance
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve technical issues
