Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 12+ years of professional backend software development experience with Java is required, or 10+ years with a Master's degree. Strong proficiency in Java 8+ features, concurrency, and object-oriented design principles is essential. Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security) and a solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and inter-service communication patterns are necessary. Familiarity with AI-assisted code generation tools like GitHub Copilot or similar, and an understanding of generative AI and large language models are significant assets.

Responsibilities

The Member Of Technical Staff will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Java-based microservices and APIs. They will contribute to the architectural design and evolution of backend systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Responsibilities include writing clean, well-documented, and efficient code using best practices like TDD and CI/CD. The role involves diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver features is key, as is identifying and implementing performance improvements. Mentoring junior engineers and participating in code reviews may also be required.
