Requirements
- Knowledge of medication administration, documentation, and evaluation
- Ability to train, coach, and consult with Residential Counselors on medication dispensing
- Skills in overseeing medication room inventory, supply orders, tools, and materials

- Leadership in MAR completion, Cycle Fill documentation/ordering, pharmacy coordination, and narcotic handling

- Ability to coordinate self-administered medication education and skills building, including direct resident training
- Understanding of program development, budget management, and productivity expectations
- Collaboration skills with leadership and community partners on regulations, policies, and procedures
- Knowledge of federal, state, county, and city regulations, plus internal policies
- Professional documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Manage the administration, documentation, and evaluation of the medication management program
- Train, coach, and consult with all Residential Counselors who dispense medication
- Oversee medication administration room, including inventory, supply orders, tools, and materials
- Conduct periodic audits of medication room services to ensure quality and compliance with regulations; recommend improvements
- Maintain coordination and communication with site medical staff; schedule resident appointments and follow through on orders
- Provide leadership and oversight for MAR completion, Cycle Fill documentation/ordering, pharmacy coordination, and narcotic handling
- Schedule medical services appointments with primary care providers, specialists, dental services, and hospital/ER
- Coordinate with LMP and clinical leadership for self-administered medication education and skills building; provide direct training to residents
- Facilitate program goals and development while meeting productivity, program expectations, and budget
- Collaborate with program leadership and community partners to develop and implement regulations, policies, and procedures
- Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and internal policies
- Document all services in a professional manner
