Requirements

Candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree from a U.S. medical school and have successfully completed residency at an accredited healthcare institution. Experience in management and leading teams is required, along with a working knowledge of community clinic/health center operations. A current active California medical license, DEA license, and malpractice coverage are mandatory. Board Certification from California is also required.

Responsibilities also include coordinating after-hours telephonic coverage, contributing to new medical programs, and participating in recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
