Responsibilities

  • Directly support EM MD and DVP China on a daily basis, providing scientific and medical liaison
  • Lead strategies and goals for medico-marketing activities across China, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards
  • Play an active part in Senior Management team activities, strategic/business planning, and company policy development aligned with global guidance
  • Comply with all policies to ensure ethical, non-harmful, and customer-beneficial activities; lead affiliate medical compliance process
  • Maintain personal development and training levels
  • Provide information to media and act as company spokesperson aligned with PA
  • Liaise between the company and health professionals, medical organizations, patient organizations, and learned colleges
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels, staff training, compensation, and forward planning for departmental activities and customer service
  • Provide timely financial planning and liaise with other companies, corporation, regional offices, and customers aligned with PV guidance
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and Policies, with Medical Services input
  • Ensure departmental resources are adequate for efficient functioning
  • Direct operations for logging, tracking, and reporting adverse events; ensure timely communications with corporate Pharmacovigilance and local authorities; implement global Med Ops requirements with local guidance
  • Chair China vetting committee to review promotional materials for alignment with company policy
  • Manage logging, tracking, reporting, and investigation of product complaints with timely customer responses
  • Liaise with legal representatives locally and overseas, providing timely notifications of potential litigation situations
  • Provide accurate and timely product information to customers; services for literature searches, article retrieval, and late-stage research products
  • Provide education on China products or therapeutic areas to external health bodies
  • Provide services to other departments on education, medical opinion, or expertise
  • Actively liaise between Sales/Marketing and Medical Services
  • Liaise with Key Opinion Leaders and government bodies
  • Provide liaison between Clinical Research, Regulatory Departments, and Medical Services
  • Provide input into clinical operations, including clinical trial site selection and global trials executed in China
