• ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa is a global BPO company partnering with a U.S.-based client in the healthcare sector. We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Medical Biller to join our remote team. To excel in this role, you must have in-depth knowledge of U.S. medical billing software and a strong understanding of U.S. medical insurance policies.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting billing data and medical claims to insurance companies
• Ensuring each patient’s medical information is accurate and up to date
• Preparing bills and invoices and documenting amounts due to medical procedures and services
• Verifying insurance coverage and eligibility
• Communicating with healthcare providers regarding billing practices
• Following up on unpaid claims and denials
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare industry regulations and guidelines
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
• Maintaining accurate records on customer interactions, transactions, and feedback
• Collaborating with colleagues and different departments to resolve complex issues
• Providing customer support through different communication channels (Phone, email, chat)
• Resolving issues and accommodating customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction with products or services

• Applicants must have a fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection.
