Curai Health Medical Group is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our remote clinical team. This role will cover our weekend shift: Every Saturday–Monday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM PT. You will be instrumental in delivering exceptional, virtual-first primary care nationwide. Your responsibilities will include supporting clinicians with patient follow-ups, care coordination, and assisting patients through a chat-based platform. Our AI-enhanced tools and EHRs enable efficient, thoughtful care delivery 24/7/365. We are looking for a tech-savvy individual who thrives in a fast-paced remote setting and is passionate about enhancing access to care.

What You'll Do

• Support clinicians with patient coordination tasks, including:
  • Pharmacy communication and prescription support.
  • Referrals and prior authorizations.
  • Scheduling and follow-up outreach.
• Provide empathetic, patient-centered communication.
• Document all tasks and communications within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Identify workflow issues and escalate them appropriately.
• Participate in team huddles and quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• Certification: Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent).
• Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • 1+ year of telemedicine experience.
• Availability: Commitment to the weekend shift schedule: Saturday–Monday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM PT.
• Skills:
  • Confidence working independently and managing high-volume patient interactions.
  • Comfort with evolving technologies, including AI-powered tools and digital platforms.
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• Flexibility: Ability to work assigned holidays as part of your regular schedule.
• Bonus: Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Pay Range: $18 - $22 per hour. This is a guideline, and actual compensation will vary based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
