Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent phlebotomy certification is required. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients are essential, along with attention to detail and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment.
The Float Medical Assistant will greet and room patients, obtain vital signs, assess patient health conditions, assist providers with examinations, order supplies, maintain exam rooms, conduct quality control checks, and provide patient screenings according to protocols. They will also deliver patient education and support, and work closely with care teams to ensure efficient patient flow and an exceptional patient experience.
