Requirements

  • Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Business - General, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Clinical Affairs, Healthcare, Project Management, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering) or equivalent; must plan to be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified during background check)
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based sponsorship now or in the future
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and proven leadership and business acumen skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with departments including R&D Engineering, Project Management, Health Care Solutions, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs to assist in clinical research programs and develop understanding of the regulated clinical research landscape
  • Perform clinical intelligence activities to ensure thorough understanding of available treatment options and clinical studies
  • Accompany Clinical Research Associate to monitor clinical data at clinical investigative sites
  • Prepare literature review summaries for comprehensive evaluation of current clinical outcomes in recent published trials
  • Shadow Clinical Research Associates at cross-functional team meetings to gain exposure to the collaborative development process associated with executing a clinical trial
