Requirements

  • UK national
  • SC Cleared, and eligible for DV clearance
  • Proven experience of working with SCCM/MECM in an enterprise environment
  • Strong expertise in all aspects of SCCM including application deployment, patching, and OSD
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and task automation
  • Solid understanding of Windows client/server environments (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016+)
  • Experience with Intune and co-management scenarios (strong plus)
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, WSUS, and Windows Update for Business
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud integration)
  • Knowledge of endpoint security best practices and tools
  • Experience with ITIL or other service management frameworks
  • Confident in delivering high level technical representation of issues; including conference calls and handling of technical resolution
  • Experience collaborating with 3rd party vendors and customers

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead and SME for SCCM/MECM infrastructure across all environments
  • Design, deploy, and manage SCCM components including software distribution, OS deployment, patch management, and compliance settings
  • Maintain and optimize the SCCM infrastructure including boundary groups, distribution points, and site servers
  • Create and manage task sequences for Windows OS deployment and upgrade scenarios
  • Develop and deploy applications and packages via SCCM to workstations and servers
  • Integrate SCCM with other technologies such as Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, and Defender for Endpoint
  • Monitor system health, generate reports, and provide metrics for endpoint compliance and system updates
  • Troubleshoot SCCM client installation and communication issues
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, technical procedures, and SOPs
  • Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices
  • Provide knowledge transfer and mentorship to junior team members and support staff
