Responsibilities

Review, digest, and technically translate customer-specific requirements from contract documentation
Provide technical assistance, detail equipment selections, and prepare specifications to support a variety of Water Technologies products and systems
Significantly involved in the execution phase of projects and providing support during commissioning stages
Engineering of Wastewater & Process Water Treatment projects in accordance with client specifications, National, International, and company standards
Create Process Calculations and Process Flow Diagrams, define and produce P&ID’s
Perform pump sizing and pressure drop calculations
Develop equipment data sheets and process equipment specifications
Technical evaluation of supplier proposals and designs
Preparation of mechanical and hydraulic designs, supported by calculations and references
Supply necessary inputs for plant layout drawings, including civil construction requirements, pipework system designs, storage and transfer system arrangements, compressed air systems, and pneumatic controls system designs
Review of Process Control Philosophies and Functional Design Specifications to ensure coordination and inclusion of process control aspects
Compilation of specification sheets for selected equipment
Assist in resolving design issues during manufacture, installation, commissioning, and operation of WT products and systems, and liaise with customers regarding legacy design issues
Comply with, support, and develop the Company Quality Assurance System – BS EN:ISO 9001:2008
Work in conjunction with the Application systems engineer and Mechanical design team
Assist in the implementation of company quality Q.A Procedures with regard to Engineering Design Document Control Procedures and assist in the maintenance of the document control system
