At least 5 years hands-on experience designing complex electromechanical products including industrial automation equipment, robots or similar systems is required, along with a B.S. in mechanical engineering (M.S. preferred).
Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) is required, along with strong background in machine design and kinematic analysis, design for manufacturing (FMEA, DFM and DFT), electronics packaging & thermal management, and electro-mechanical actuators & sensors. Experience with numerical modelling in Python/Matlab, FEA (Ansys, Nastran), PDM/PLM, and JIRA is a significant asset.
