A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant technical degree like Mechatronics or Electronics is required, along with 5+ years’ experience in a similar role. Experience in designing oilfield or downhole equipment is a plus.
Solid knowledge of CAD software such as Solidworks or NX, knowledge of ERP systems like TeamCenter and SAP, and a good understanding of mechanical/structural analytical and numerical design techniques are required.
