Required skills include proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software, deep understanding of mechanical tolerances, materials, and manufacturing processes, 2+ years of mechanical drafting experience, and familiarity with marine/aerospace/defense applications and DoD standards.
A strong candidate will have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design or related field, 2+ years of drafting experience in production/prototyping/R&D, SolidWorks proficiency, and experience with defense/marine applications including DoD standards.
