Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in packaging lines
  • Experience in mechanical activities such as assembly pipes & equipment, testing
  • Good mechanical aptitude, use of general hand tools, power tools needed for assembly and precision measuring equipment
  • Knowledge of packaging drawings read and understand
  • Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective gloves, safety glass etc
  • Deftness and attention to detail
  • Proficient in English
  • Good to have: Knowledge of packaging manufacturing operations
  • Good to have: Experience in alignment for Centrifugal Compressor and electrical motor with gearbox
  • Good to have: Knowledge of the product: Centrifugal Compressor, Gas Turbine, Electrical Motor, Gearbox

Responsibilities

  • Assembling components such as Compressors, Motors, pipes, and baseplate per assembly drawings
  • Operating Overhead Crane to move equipment
  • Working within precise limits or standards of accuracy
  • Assembling/disassembly, adjust and install mechanical to meet tolerance and product operating requirements
  • Performing basic mathematical calculations
  • Performing testing such as hydrotest and pneumatic test
  • Performing alignment for Centrifugal Compressor and electrical motor with gearbox
  • Complying with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental directives and regulations
  • Ownership for completion of QC Sheets, manufacturing forms, completion work forms
