Ability to receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, including grinds
Knowledge of meat cutting standards and company packaging standards
Ability to assist in merchandising seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, pre-packed deli, rotisserie chicken area, and full service deli
Capability to prepare special cuts of meat for members and make recommendations on meat, poultry, and seafood
Understanding of sanitation and safety standards for the meat department
Ability to maintain inventory levels, stock cases, rotate products by expiration dates, and dispose of damaged/expired products per guidelines
Skills to clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, meat cooler, freezer, and refrigerated display cases
Capacity to inspect and store meat upon delivery

Responsibilities
Engage members by providing assistance, making recommendations, and answering questions on meat, poultry, and seafood
Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by members
Cut, grind, and/or process fresh meats to company standards
Weigh, package, wrap, and label cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood to company standards
Showcase available products in the meat case and maintain appropriate inventory levels
Fully stock meat, seafood, prepared foods, and cheese cases
Rotate meats, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses according to expiration dates
Follow guidelines for disposing of damaged and/or expired products
Clean and sanitize all equipment, display fixtures, and areas in the meat department, including cooler, freezer, and display cases
Inspect and store meat upon delivery
Support club policies, flawless execution, member-focused service, safety, and GOLD club standards (e.g., grand opening look, stocked items, accurate signage, clean and organized)
