Responsibilities

  • Assist business units to close financial books for period-end (Month/Quarter/Year) and enable reporting of financial results
  • Reconciliation of assigned accounts in General Ledger to their independent source
  • Processing periodic/regular journals based on standing instructions or adhoc client requests, after necessary checks
  • Assist client in financial control over books by performing prescribed checks
  • Prepare reports or financial information for client use
  • Design and implementation of tools and processes for financial analysis of statements
  • Assess materiality and volatility of financial statement line items and key metrics using financial ratios
  • Solve routine problems through precedent and referral to general guidelines
  • Interact within own team and with direct supervisor
  • Follow detailed to moderate instructions on daily tasks and new assignments
  • Make decisions impacting own work as an individual contributor in a team
  • Manage month-end activities
  • Perform accounting adjustments
  • Handle general period close entries (e.g., expenses, accruals)
