Bachelor's Degree
5 or more years of data analysis and reporting experience
Prior experience creating analytics solutions for various and disparate healthcare Provider data
Advanced in SQL and relational database models
In-depth experience in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivots, charts, graphs, etc
Experience utilizing and optimizing the use of multiple large data sets
Experience building reporting solutions and data visualizations using Power BI
Systems thinker - Highly analytical, able to break down a problem and recommend pragmatic solutions
Prioritization - Able to execute on projects within prescribed timelines in an environment with competing demands
Data - The ability to process data, present relevant views to different stakeholders, and predict and forecast trends/insights
Tools - A curiosity to experiment with and evaluate new tools to impact how we work. Advanced skills with SQL, PowerBI, and Excel
Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple or competing priorities
High collaboration and consensus building skills; assuring that reports align with stated operational goals and/or strategic initiatives
Must live/work in the EST timezone (preference for candidates within driving distance to Louisville, KY)
Ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (minimum 25mbps download x 10mbps upload; no satellite or wireless internet)
Dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Responsibilities

Tests the overall network in each county of operations to ensure the network is strong enough to support serving customers
Manages and leads the data infrastructure and reporting methodologies in support of Network Adequacy requirements and process optimization, primarily focusing on the Medicaid line of business
Deep understanding of network build initiatives to proactively mitigate operational deficiencies, drive superior quality, and establish standardization in an ambiguous environment
Begins to influence the department’s strategy
Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components
Works without direction and exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
