Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Minimum of 2 - 5 years of exact experience with increasing level of complexity of bill of materials
  • Experienced with planning practices and processes in manufacturing and engineering environments
  • Demonstrated proficiency using MS Office Suite (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel) and MRP/ERP systems
  • Qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR and EAR, or eligible for export license approval
  • APICS Certification (CPIM) is preferred
  • Experience using Oracle ERP system or similar is preferred
  • Good judgment within defined procedures and practices
  • Effective problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • High organizational and coordination skills to meet deadlines
  • Ability to react and adapt to constant change in deadlines
  • Receives little instruction on day-to-day work
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Planning and providing status of material availability of assigned products
  • Creating and releasing work orders to production based upon the MPS, and following them through to completion
  • Supporting Contracts & Finance to ensure customer orders are completed on schedule
  • Reviewing status of material shortages with procurement
  • Communicating with Production Control regarding priorities and material shortages
  • Working closely with production leads and production control to ensure issues are addressed quickly
  • Assisting Purchasing and Manufacturing with resolution of MRP and planning discrepancies
  • Managing ECO implementation for assigned product to ensure proper material and demand dispositions
  • Works on problems of moderate scope requiring review of various factors
  • Other duties as assigned
