Candidates must be a U.S. Person, possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and have at least two years of experience in a fast-paced industry with a demonstrated track record of successful on-time delivery. They must also be willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
The Material Planner will be responsible for ownership and demand planning for on-time delivery of raw materials and finished goods, working closely with the purchasing and supply chain team to ensure accurate forecasts and timely orders are placed with suppliers. This role involves proactive problem-solving, root cause analysis with vendors, developing and maintaining material planning best practices within MRP systems, order creation and placement based on production schedules, and scenario planning for different build variations. Reporting out to leadership regarding potential material shortages and implementing a continuous improvement mindset are also key responsibilities.
