Requirements

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of related professional experience, including 3+ years of Project Management within web or digital marketing teams, ideally in SaaS or tech environments. Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-level web migrations or replatforming projects is required. Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Asana, and web project planning tools is necessary, along with familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Contentful, or Adobe Experience Manager. A solid understanding of web architecture, content modeling, SEO best practices, and site performance is also essential. The candidate must be comfortable managing both agile sprints and waterfall-style implementation plans and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

The Marketing Project Manager will lead the end-to-end planning and execution of a large-scale web migration, including timelines, data/content migration, QA, cutover, and post-launch stabilization. This involves partnering with Web Strategy, UX, Engineering, and Publishing teams to define scope, requirements, and sprint-ready work, as well as facilitating platform audits and technical requirements gathering. The role includes acting as Scrum Master for the migration workstream, managing backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. Key responsibilities also involve identifying and mitigating risks, monitoring dependencies, removing blockers, and leading effective status reporting, governance communications, and executive updates. Additionally, the project manager will create and manage documentation, maintain clean records in Jira and Confluence, drive continuous improvement by documenting learnings and standardizing processes, and collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator to align resources around key migration milestones.
