Requirements

Experience with marketing automation platforms, specifically Braze
Strong development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Knowledge of email design and development principles
Understanding of data and personalization logic
Experience with SQL and data extraction
Familiarity with relational database structures
Knowledge of AI and workflow automation tools
Experience with API integrations and webhooks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

Create and maintain email templates and email design systems
Build interactive email experiences and in-app messages
Provide development guidance and support to the Lifecycle Marketing team
Troubleshoot and resolve complex email, in-app, and web template issues
Design and build complex, multi-channel automation journeys in Braze
Manage platform administration, including roles, users, and account settings
Create and maintain custom HTML templates for in-app messaging
Develop custom scripts (webhooks, advanced Liquid logic) to extend platform capabilities
Integrate external tools and platforms using APIs beyond native supported integrations
Implement advanced personalization logic, including for loops, connected content, and catalogs
Write SQL queries for complex use cases and data extraction
Build custom reports and data visualizations
Design technical solutions based on relational database structures
Evaluate, implement, and optimize AI tools to enhance marketing efficiency and campaign performance
Build automated workflows that reduce manual tasks and streamline repetitive processes
Create scoping tools and templates that help marketers estimate project timelines and resource requirements
Design self-service tools that empower marketing team members to execute campaigns independently
Identify opportunities to leverage AI for predictive analytics, A/B test optimization, and performance forecasting
Build integrations between AI tools and our marketing tech stack to automate data flows and reporting
Train team members on new automation tools and document best practices for AI-powered workflows
