Requirements

The candidate must be a US citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph, possessing a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline such as Computer, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, and a minimum of six years of professional experience in systems engineering. They should have experience with embedded systems or robotics, and demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team, coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical analyses to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

As a Maritime Systems Engineer, the individual will analyze system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system designs, working with a cross-functional team to oversee system design, development, integration, and product verification testing. They will participate in Technical Exchange Meetings, support testing throughout the acquisition lifecycle, gather documentation for field exercises, advocate for program performance, and interface with team members to resolve system engineering issues and track user requirements. Additionally, the role involves providing expertise and advice for system integration, supporting government project leads, and recommending future direction or projects.
