Requirements

Ability to work 2nd shift: 3pm-11pm OR 3rd shift: 11pm-7am
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Working knowledge of injection or blow molding equipment (preferred)
Hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical mechanical basic knowledge
Ability to troubleshoot & problem solve
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall performance of a shift in the Uniloy department
Monitor and approve necessary setting adjustments
Ensure preventative maintenance requirements are done as outlined by machine specification and preventative maintenance guidelines
Maintain a high level of motivation and leadership
Operate a variety of top-of-the-line extrusion & blow-molding manufacturing equipment
Monitor equipment, making adjustments to settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers
Troubleshoot equipment & perform routine preventative maintenance
Assure Plastipak customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights & dimensions
