Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, other STEM-related or business-related program
  • Maintained a GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent
  • Fluent in oral and written English with effective communication skills
  • Able to relocate for the duration of the internship (locations vary)
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or temporary resident, without need for employment sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with day-to-day manufacturing operations, including monitoring equipment, overseeing processes, and ensuring production goals are met
  • Participating in quality control and quality assurance processes, inspecting products for defects, and ensuring they meet industry standards and company specifications
  • Identifying opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction in manufacturing operations
  • Collecting and analyzing data related to manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and product quality
  • Learning and applying principles of lean manufacturing to minimize waste, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity
  • Preparing reports, work instructions, and process documentation to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices
  • Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained
