Requirements

  • Minimum NFQ Level 7 degree in Engineering
  • Degree in Mechanical, Automation, Mechatronics, or Electronics preferred
  • Graduated within the last 2 years
  • Dynamic team player who can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams
  • Good communicator, fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships; shows respect for others

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to manufacturing products for use in medical procedures as defined/required by business needs
  • Provide engineering focus and technical support for task teams
  • Lead problem solving and improvement initiatives
  • Support the implementation of COS (Cell Operating System)
  • Use and establish analysis techniques and other quality control tools to aid decision-making
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and developing strong partnering relationships
  • Support the introduction/implementation of product, process, and material changes to manufacturing operations
  • Participate in establishing the most effective, reliable, and cost-effective processing methods for manufacturing operations in a COS environment
  • Actively involved in sourcing, testing, and approving materials
  • Monitor and evaluate safety practices, ensure compliance with legislation, and operate to departmental and company quality procedures
  • Undertake specific projects as designated in support of business activities
  • Document design/development/test activities in Engineering Laboratory notebooks
  • Accountable for delivering consistent decisions, actions, and results
